In line with the Isabela State University’s vision and mission, the School of Veterinary Medicine is tasked to produce quality graduates who are competent in the practice of General Veterinary Medicine and provide manpower to the development and implementation of health programs in the animal industry, and as partners in promoting the nation’s goals for food sustainability.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The Program objectives of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine are of its graduates to:
- Practice adequate and well-founded competence in an international perspective in veterinary medicine and to relate it to other disciplines;
- Convey comprehensive and effective information in the field of animal health management and public concerns;
- Identify health problems in a geophysical environment and devise strategies for diagnosis, prevention and control, treatment and eradication procedures of livestock diseases;
- Formulate, implement and promote animal health programs and veterinary health concerns and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs through critical decisions
- Demonstrate professional work attitude and entrepreneurial skills; and
- Execute social commitment and sense of responsibility to work towards national goals, development thrust and concerns to boost animal health care and production.
The Program objectives of the Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry are of its graduates to:
- Convey comprehensive and effective information in the field of animal production management and public concerns;
- Identify animal production problems in a geophysical environment and apply appropriate strategies for a suitable animal husbandry practice.
- Demonstrate professional work attitude and entrepreneurial skills; and
- Execute social commitment and sense of responsibility to work towards national goals, development thrust and concerns to boost animal production and management.
