On December 6-8, 2025, Isabela State University’s faculty members from the College of Crimimal Justice Education and ICT personnel attended a seminar entitled “Crisis/Incident Management Training Program focus on Bomb Threat Response and Management” held at the Center for Flexible Learning, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), City of Batac, Ilocos Norte. The training topics includes protocols, response procedures, and best practices for handling bomb threats and related security situations.

This important initiative, driven by Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in collaboration with Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) and Philippine National Police (PNP), aims to significantly strengthen disaster preparedness, emergency response capability, and institutional safety across the higher education sector.

The event brought together representatives from various state universities across Region 1, 2, 3, and CAR, fostering a unified approach to security and emergency readiness.
