Mr. Jean Acido, a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) student from Isabela State University (ISU) Echague – College of Education, has won a silver medal in Plumbing and Heating at the 14th WorldSkills ASEAN 2025 Competition!

Held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City from August 25-30, 2025, this year’s competition, themed “ASEAN: Skilled for the Future,” brought together the best and brightest young talents in the region. Competing under the banner of Southern Isabela College of Arts and Trades (SICAT) – TESDA Santiago City, Jean’s remarkable skill and hard work shone brightly on the international stage, earning him this prestigious recognition.
