College of Agriculture (CA), the oldest college in the campus, celebrated their 58th Founding Anniversary on Monday, October 23, with the theme โ€œGearing toward Competitiveness through Excellence in Agribusiness,” in their wild west themed outfits.

Despite the gloomy weather, the celebration commenced with a parade that started from Echague Municipal Hall exhibiting the floats made by the students from the college’s different programs.

The occasion continued at the University Amphitheater with University and Campus officials headed by President Ricmar P. Aquino and Campus Executive Officer Dr. Jose P. Gallena Jr. gracing the event.

Furthermore, Gwenneth B. Andres, the guest speaker, imparted different opportunities for agriculture students and encouraged them to be patient on their journey.

โ€œYou may be questioning yourself right now, but trust me you are in the right path with the help of Isabela State University โ€“ College of Agriculture,” Andres stated.

In addition, she urges the students to live their life for a purpose.

โ€œStudy hard, have fun, earn money, but donโ€™t forget to be a blessing to others. Chase the vision, you are here for a purpose,” she added.

Moreover, the afternoon part of the event was intended for the studentโ€™s acquaintance ball that was filled with songs, dances, games and prizes.

Lastly, the search for Mr. and Ms. CA 2023 added the crowdโ€™s excitement, hailing Adrian Austria and Shaina Marayag as the new Mr. and Ms. PASUC.

Overall, the said activity signifies CAโ€™s remarkable success and excellence in service to people and community.
